Also known as Annapurna Sunrise View Trek this program is most popular in Annapurna region for it offers stunning close-up views of Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Himalaya range. Poon Hill welcomes thousands of national and international tourist every year.
While trekking in this region one can enjoy walk through dense forests filled with rhododendrons, exploration of village life style of Gurung & other ethnic groups, and sunrise view over Annapurna Himalaya.
This is a gentle trek best done between October to April.

You will arrive in Kathmandu by flight. We receive you and take you to the hotel.
Today you will visit famous Hindu temples and Buddhist Stupas in Kathmandu including Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath and Boudha Stupa.
In the morning we take half an hour flight to Pokhara city. We then drive to Nayapul to begin our trek. Destination for today is Tikhedhunga at the height of 1540 meters.This walk takes about 4 hours. Overnight stay at local tea house in Tikhedhunga.
In the morning after breakfast we climb up to Ulleri, have lunch and some rest here then continue ascent up towards Ghorepani. On the we enjoy incredible view of vallies and the mountains passing through villages and dense rhododendron forest. Overnight stay at local tea house in Ghorepani.
Early in the morning we climb steeply up to Poon Hill to catch sunrise over the Himalayas. It is a very popular destination in the whole Annapurna region for as many as 20 Himalayan peaks can be seen from only 3210meters including the close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The white peaks can be seen glowing with the morning sun rays. After spending about an hour, we return back to Ghorepani. By this time we like to have breakfast then climb a ridge nearby then descending through rhododendron forests passing beautiful waterfalls before reaching Tadapani for rest & night stay.
In the morning after breakfast we begin our walk on the descending trail towards Ghandruk, through beautiful forests before reaching the Ghandruk village of Gurung people. This ethnic group is known for their costume, culture, and different way of communication. Many of the soldiers to famous Gurkha regiment came from this village. From here we can have stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchre (Fishtail). Overnight stay at local tea house in Ghandruk.
Today is the last day of the trek. After breakfast we walk to Nayapul from where we began the trek 4 days ago. 90 Minutes drive from here will breing us to beautiful Pokhara city. In the afternoon we will have some time to explore lakeside (tourist market) and buy souvenirs. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara city.
In the morning after breakfast you will be transferred to domestic airport in Pokahara to catch flight back to Kathmandu. After arrival you will be dropped at your hotel. This is a rest day for you in Kathmandu.
You will be transferred to international airport in Kathmandu 3 hours before your flight time back home. End of Trip!
